Basil, Mini Purple 
Ocimum Basilicum
One of the best basil performers for the dead heat of summer. The flavor is similar to sweet basil, but its appearance is much different, with deep purple stems and tiny, purple leaves on a compact plant. Perfect for mixed pots - adds a nice contrast to the greens of other herbs. Use in salads, bouquets and as a lovely and interesting garnish.
