Herbs de Provence

This collection of herbs is used in combination as a traditional seasoning in southern French cuisine to add a unique, flavorful and savory flavor to chicken, lamb or vegetables. Use the following recipe to preserve your own high quality seasoning. This collection contains one plant of each of the following: Thyme, Savory, Oregano, Rosemary, Sweet Marjoram, and Lavender.

Herbs de Provence

3 Tbs. dried thyme
2 Tbs. dried savory
1 Tbs. dried oregano
3 tsp. dried rosemary
2 tsp. dried sweet marjoram
1 Tbs. dried lavender blossoms
Mix well and store in an air-tight container. Makes 1/4 cup.
