Mom's Best Meatloaf
The perfect meatloaf recipe! Great for sandwiches.
Featuring the following Pantry Garden Herbs:

2 lbs ground beef |

1/2 onion chopped fine |
 |
1 tsp sage leaves chopped fine |

 |

3/4 cup Saltine crackers crushed fine or 3 pieces of toast crumbled |
 |
1/4 cup quick oats |
 |
1 egg |

 |
2 T milk |
 |

Directions
Mix all the ingredients except the catsup in a bowl with your hands. Shape into a long slender loaf, packed tight on a broiling pan so the fat can drain into a pan underneath while cooking. Bake 350 for 1 hour. Remove from oven and squeeze catsup in a zig-zag pattern down the length of the loaf. Return to oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let it sit for 10 more minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes.>
